The Silhouette



Like the dutch angle the silhouette is a bit of a cliche in film noir but I can't resist. Just a test shot.

I'll pan it for not being cliched enough!!

Not enough angle to that dutch angle dude! It almost doesn't look tilted, just like maybe the camera wasn't quite straight. I'd say it should be more pronounced.

But then that's just me!

Actually I didn't use the dutch angle in this shot just a silhouette test. But I am tempted to use it in a scene to suggest uncertainy in the main character.

And who named it DUTCH angle anyway? The Dutch aren't really angled like that, are they? ;)
