Forced Perspective


This picture is a good example of forced perspective. The ship in the background is actually an inch and a half long. The tombstones are different sizes with the farthest one half the size or less than the closest one.

Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts is now accepting proposals for 'XPT 2008'! We are looking for talented artists of all disciplines to submit proposals of short work (ten minutes or less) which explore and experiment with the possibilities of puppetry. Performance styles can include hand puppets, shadow theater, masks, marionettes, toy theater, object theater, stop-motion, film and video, installation art, automata, robotics, and more! The 'Xperimental Puppetry Theater' program is over 25 years old and has fostered the development of over 100 artists. Seed grants are available. There are opportunities also for performers/designers/musicians to participate in individual projects.
