Drive By

I want to include a quick scene with a car driving by. Here's a shot of the car with headlights on. Looks pretty good for a cut-out.

Fedora Hat

Sam's fedora was made out of paper. After trying sculpey I was finding I couldn't get the nice clean edges so I tried paper and it worked quite well.

Classic Shots

These are re-creations of classic shots of Bogey from "Maltese Falcon." Doing this is a good way to practice lighting techniques.

Office Noir

With the TAIS short complete I can now return to "Office Noir." Here's a coming soon to wet your appetite. I've used the score from the "Maltese Falcon" as inspiration but obviously can't use it in final film. Will be looking for a composer to create similar score.

TAIS Monster Jam Entry

This is my submission for the Toronto Animated Image Society Monster Jam. Their rules stipulated a 10 second time limit. Special thanks to my nieces Jessica and Sara for providing the voice talent. Now back to Office Noir!!

Animation Complete

I finished "principal photography" as they say on the monster short and now in post production. Not 100% satisfied with result but it never quite turns out the way you see it in your mind. I'll post short soon .
